When and why did you start your blog?

I started blogging in November of 2011 as a fun way to share my love and views of fashion, shopping, and lifestyle.

Where did you get that?

I always include information of where to find my items in the blog post.  If the link or information is missing, you can always email an inquiry to nekibosh@theyrejustclothes.com.

Who inspires you?

There are many major icons in the fashion world.  Personally, I live for Beyoncé.  I love her style because it is unlimited.  Her style ranges from couture to jeans and a t-shirt.  I absolutely adore Beyoncé’s style.

What do you do when you’re not blogging?

When I am not blogging, I am researching and shopping so that I can blog more! :~)  I am also in the process of completing a book that will be released later this year (The Things We Do For Groceries).  I am also available for  freelance, consulting, styling and speaking engagements.

Do you support/recommend other blog sites?

Absolutely!  I visit other blog sites daily.  I add my favorite sites to the blogroll listed in the sidebar. I believe in supporting and encouraging others, but some of the girls are complete inspiration for me.

How can I get started?  Any tips for me?

Don’t be afraid of the competition.  The blog world is huge.  Don’t get too influenced by other sites and lose sight of who you are.  Stay true to what makes your style special.  Post pictures and be consistent in writing.  Lastly, have fun.

Do you answer questions?

I reply to all comments made in the actual comment section. I am also always on the They’re Just Clothes Facebook page, and I reply to emails (nekibosh@theyrejustclothes.com).

How can I build a following?

Hard work, passion, drive and more hard work.  Good content is great, but there is a lot of work involved when trying to convince others.  Be consistent in your efforts and keep producing great articles.  NEVER GIVE UP!
